Pre-arrival checklist
Tick these off in order for a smooth, stress-free start. Work through each step with our admissions and student support teams — they are with you every step of the way.

Ensure your passport is valid for your full study period and that your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) has been issued by EMGS before you book travel.
Secure a hostel, shared apartment, or studio near campus in advance so you have a confirmed place to stay the moment you land.
Share your flight number and arrival time with us so a representative can meet you at KLIA and bring you safely to your accommodation.
Set aside funds for your first month — accommodation deposit, food, transport, and essentials — using our sample cost-of-living guide.
Confirm your medical insurance and complete the required health declaration; you will finish post-arrival screening once in Malaysia.
Our admissions team helps international students plan every step — from application and visa to accommodation and arrival. Reach out and we will guide you the whole way.
