International Students

EMGS process

Every international student pass in Malaysia is processed through EMGS β€” Education Malaysia Global Services, the central agency appointed to verify documents, run security checks, and issue your Visa Approval Letter. Here is exactly what to expect.

Moname International College submits and tracks your EMGS application on your behalf, so you can focus on preparing for life in Kuala Lumpur. All fees and timelines below are indicative samples β€” confirm current figures with our admissions team.

EMGS Process
One agency, one application, one trusted process

EMGS coordinates with Malaysian Immigration so your student pass is handled through a single, transparent channel.

What is EMGS?

One agency, one application, one trusted process

EMGS is the official one-stop centre that manages student pass applications for international students across Malaysia. Once you accept your offer at MIC, our admissions office opens your case in the EMGS portal, uploads your documents, and monitors each stage until your Visa Approval Letter (VAL) is issued.

Because everything flows through one verified system, you always know where your application stands β€” from initial submission to your post-arrival medical and student pass endorsement.

Post-arrival check-up

Within the required window after arriving, attend a full medical examination at an EMGS-approved clinic in Kuala Lumpur. Results are submitted directly to EMGS to finalise your pass.
