SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Am I eligible?
You must have to be the following:
- Current international student.
- Must have completed at least 2 department semesters.
You must meet the following criteria:
- Intending to enrol full-time in undergraduate or postgraduate (coursework) degree.
- For commencing students, you must have received a Geomatika offer.
- For current students, you must have completed a minimum of two semesters.
- You must have two consecutive dean’s list status.
Note: You are not eligible to apply for this scholarship if you:
- Are studying Foundation and PHD .
- Are already having other scholarship.
- Not applicable for ODL students.
- You cannot apply in your last semester of your program.
International Student Office (InSO) invites students from all countries who have received an offer from University Geomatika Malaysia (UGM) or who are currently enrolled with the university to apply for the Geomatika International Merit Scholarship. As a scholarship recipient, you will receive RM 5,000 per annum for the duration of your degree.
Merit based scholarship program is established to motivate and help the existing students who might be in need for financial aid with excellence academic results in their current studies at Geomatika.
Numbers offered:
- Maximum 10 students per year
Selection criteria:
- Based on academic achievement.
- Current students must have achieved a minimum weighted average mark of 85/CGPA >3.80
- Students will also be assessed on their scholarship application statement (500 words), and their potential to be an ambassador for University Geomatika Malaysia.
- Preference will be given to commencing students.
How to apply?
- You must submit an online separate application form and hardcopy along with your latest academic results to International Student Office (InSO).
- Before applying for this scholarship, you must have completed the requirement mentioned above with no conditions.
Do not submit supporting documentation with your application – this will not be considered
